Suresh Raina to miss Dharamsala ODI due to viral fever

The Indian group will be without the administrations of Suresh Raina for the first Day International against New Zealand in Dharamsala as the left-hander is experiencing viral fever.

In a media discharge, Board of Control for Cricket in India affirmed the advancement. "The BCCI Medical group has affirmed that Suresh Raina, who is recuperating from an episode of viral fever, is precluded of the principal ODI of the Paytm ODI Trophy against New Zealand," the announcement read.

The 29-year-old left-gave batsman last played an ODI in October 2015 and was along these lines let well enough alone for the group inferable from poor shape. He was named in the 15-man squad for the initial three ODIs against New Zealand.

Raina was a piece of the Uttar Pradesh group that played its Ranji Trophy against Madhya Pradesh in Hyderabad. Raina did not bat in both innings, and apparently flew back home mid-route through the diversion to recover.
